Below is contact information for a few people that are great resources as you plan travel to CHIC 2009. Keep in mind that your conference liaison is also a good resource for travel plans.

Lakeville Travel: 800-848-8151

We have worked with Lakeville in the past and they have worked to negotiate group discounts in the past for our groups. All of their agents are aware of CHIC and aware of the dates of CHIC. They will be working with the airlines in the near future to work out details for group rates or any other discounts they can find for our groups. You do not have to use Lakeville if you have someone else that you already have a relationship with – this is only a suggestion of someone we’ve had good luck with in the past.

Brian is a CHIC Council member and has great knowledge of the bussing industry and has a few contacts for you if your conference plans on bussing to CHIC. Additionally, Brian may be able to utilize your coach busses during the week of CHIC for excursions. If your group is bussing to CHIC please contact Brian and let him know if you busses will be available during the week.

Keith is up in Alaska and works for Alaska Christian College. He has worked with travel for the past 4 CHICs. He is very knowledgeable about flying into Knoxville and would love to help groups get to CHIC. Keith has worked with groups from Alaska and mainly the West Coast in the past.
