I am a huge supporter of CHIC and I love seeing how God moves through the amazing event that is CHIC!
I am however a bit disappointed with the promo video this year. For my students that have never been to CHIC or that are new to the Covenant Church, this video does little to inform that about all that CHIC really is and leaves a lot for us as leaaders to fill in.
To the few students that I’ve shown it to thus far, their feedback has been that it’s confusing in the beginning and they’re not sure what the point or meaning is. It get’s a little better towards the end but even then only gives a pale reflextion of all the makes up CHIC.
My group is made up of a lot of students that are pretty unfamiliar with CHIC so it’s hard for them to get stoked about it when the video is so vague.
having said that I am thrilled to be taking students and can’t wait to see God move.
Thank you somuch for all the hard work that goes into CHIC and for giving God such an awesome outlet to work through!!
