From the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame Web site:
“The Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame opened in June 1999 in Knoxville, Tennessee. It is the only facility of its kind dedicated to all levels of women’s basketball. So whether you are looking for inspiration, education or just plain fun, the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame is the place to find it!”
Inside the Hall, which is topped by a 10-ton basketball, you will find multimedia presentations, scrapbooks, medals, trophies, old uniforms and photographs. You will take a jump back in time as you view these valuable keepsakes of the past. Don’t forget your basketball shoes as there are three basketball courts with goals at different heights. Step into a time machine and test your skills on these courts as one represents the past, another the present and the last the future.
