A new addition to the CHIC landscape, this contest is sure to be a winner. All you have to do is create a video and include the CHIC logo, CHIC Undone Logo and the video with the most hits wins. It’s that simple! Whether about your day at school, stupid human body tricks, why ninjas are better than Barbie, or whether or not Star Wars ever happened, all you have to do is include the CHIC logo in your video. Then, post your video on YouTube and send us the link. We’ll include it in the entry list above and the video with the most hits by the first night of CHIC is the winner.

Short Film Contest

UPDATE: Entires are now closed.

Calling all writers, directors, producers, actors and editors! Returning for a second CHIC in a row is the Short Film Contest. Submit a short film (15 minute max) for inclusion in this year’s contest to be held at CHIC. Thematic content should include this CHIC’s theme ‘undone’ in any creative fashion you see fit. All entries must be submitted by July 1. Only students registered for CHIC can be included in the credits. Mail your film on DVD to CHIC Office, ATTN: Tara Allison, 3311 W. Foster Ave., Chicago IL 60625.

Battle of the Bands

UPDATE 3: A congratulations goes out to the top three entries of the Battle of the Bands contest, in alphabetical order, ABand’n Oz, Kingdom, and Ellen Tcaksik, and a special thanks to the participants, all of whom will be part of a special event during CHIC.

UPDATE 2: Contest is now closed. Voting runs through June 30.

UPDATE 1: Submission deadline has been extended to June 1.

Back, by popular demand, is the Battle of the Bands contest which first debuted at CHIC 06. Whether you sing a cappella, play your own instrument, rap with a friend, or are part of a band, send us a photo and an .mp3 of your original music and we’ll post it on the CHIC website for consideration. The top 3 musicians will be invited to perform at CHIC this summer, and one of those will have the chance to play on Mainstage! All entries must be submitted by June 1. Only students registered for CHIC are allowed to participate as musicians. Only 2 entries per act please.

If you attended CHIC 2009: Undone and have not yet filled out the evaluation form (you should have received an email from the University of Tennessee), please take a few minutes to give us your feedback.

Your feedback is important to us as we look forward to and plan for CHIC 2012, and we hope you’ll take a few minutes to complete this evaluation.

Though many questions require you to choose one answer, there are opportunities throughout to comment further and candidly share your thoughts. All responses will be kept anonymous, and will be reported only as grouped data.
