There is nothing like the anticipation for CHIC! We hope you are excited to arrive at the University of Tennessee for an amazing week of fun, God moments, and enjoying the awe of being with 5000 other students.
When you arrive at CHIC, we will be hosting a WELCOME PARTY at a place we are calling “THE HUB.” It’s a place designed for you to come and start your journey at CHIC 2009. At the Welcome Party you will experience:
We can’t wait to hang with you at “The Hub” for the welcome party happening the first day of CHIC, Sunday July 12th from 11am – 6pm.

This summer we’ll be sending a group of high school students to Thailand immediately preceding CHIC. They’ll have a chance to visit downtown Bangkok, as well as travel to the outer edges of the country visiting some of our Covenant missionaries. But most exciting will be the chance they’ll have to see first-hand how an offering scheduled to be taken at CHIC will be put to use. They’ll visit the places, meet the people, and experience the programs that your offering will help to support. Here’s a look at some of the sites throughout Thailand.
The first group to register was Life House Covenant Church in Longmont, Colorado. If you see any of these people at CHIC, give them a congratulatory hand shake for having their ducks in a row.

The person with the authentic photo (no photoshop!) at an identifiable location farthest from Knoxville TN (as the crow flies) will receive a free hooded sweatshirt. Entries must be sent by May 9, 2009 to win the prize.
